The blue background for both blocks are the same and in real life are closer to the blue in the churn dash block. I did some editing on the top block to bring out the lime green. It made the mustard yellow look orange, though. Oops!
I've got to watch that.

This is my version of a sunset! The sun is Light Gold, a great true egg yolk yellow.
This was my first curved piecing. All I can say is third time's a charm!
Yaya's Bee
Kris is our new bee mama. We all pitched in fabric and she made TWO baby quilts for a baby basket we're putting together. It will be raffled off at the West Houston Quilt Guild's 2017 Quilt Show in March.
I love the ric-rac on both of them!
Which one of these would you rather get if you purchase a raffle ticket for our basket?

Quilted by Lillie
I completed a top! It's ombre pink. This will be for the guild challenge at the West Houston Quilter's Guild's 2017 Quilt Show. Our challenge was to take one color and explore it's hues. We could add either white or black but not both.
This is a pattern by Jaybird Designs called Delight.

It's also fun to pick out and work with all the bright colors.
Can you tell I have a lot of geometric fabric in my stash?
I like flowery fabric, but I don't really buy much flowery fabric. I have this thing in my mind that I won't know what to do with it, yet when I do work with it, I enjoy it. What a dichotomy!
Are you helping out with this quilt drive?
