Cynthia Brunz over at Quilting is more fun than Housework (it really is!) is having a Quilty Orphan Adoption event. She is hosting a link-up for people who have extra quilty stuff to give away for free! (Or for those looking for some free stuff.) I looked around in my sewing room and found these:
1. Paper piecing mini wall hangings, complete with some tips!
These I picked up at the Houston International Quilt Festival in 2014.
2. Juggle Pattern by Thimbleblossoms
This one is great to use those Honeycomb precuts by Moda. Or make your own hexies from yardage.
I'm including the template for both the hexagon and the triangles.
This is entirely machine pieced - no hand piecing!
A picture of my finished quilt using this pattern is here.
3. Simple pattern I picked up in Ramona, CA at a LQS there.
4. Dottie jelly roll by Moda
This is left-over from the 2015 crazy jelly roll buy-out at Green Fairy Quilts when my Thimblelina's bee bought 20 jelly rolls!
I used the other three I got, but this one has been sitting around. I think it's time to pass it on -
There are mini-dots, regular dots and big dots!
My giveaway is open to US Residents only, since I'm paying for shipping.
You don't have to have a reason to want one of these items, but if you want to use it for charitable purposes, more power to you!
Please put in your comment which of the 4 items you'd prefer, and if there's an alternate choice, include that as well.
Good luck!
I will pick at winner after noon CDT on Tuesday, March 22nd.
Winners are:
#1: Quilting Tangent
#2: The Joyful Quilter
#3: Tu-Na Quilts
#4: Emily C

I'd love the jelly roll or the hexagon pattern. Both look like lots of fun.
The jelly rolls are my preference, even tho the other items are wonderful...thanks so much,
Would love the dots for a donation quilt. Thanks so much. Doris in Alabama dmiller124@hotmail.com

I'd love to give your Dot's jelly roll a new home.
You really are clearing out your sewing room with all these going to new homes. I would love the jelly roll as I use dots in a lot of my charity quilts for kids. I think they add a little happiness to them. My second choice would be the paper pieced wall hangings. I love wall hangings because they are fun to make and don't take the time of a full size quilt.
Thanks for the chance at re homing one of your lovelies.
Rina
Dottie jelly roll, please! This would be ideal for my in-planning-now all polka dot sampler. Thank you! ldpaulson at yahoo dot com
#1 Mini Quilt Patterns. NEED to tackle my aversion to paper piecing!! It's the BEST way to make a Mariner's Compass, always on my Wish List of quilts to make.
#2 Alternate for a friend who was just talking about this pattern.
Thanks!
So generous! The Jelly rolls be a wonderful addition to my stash of fabric for donation quilts! I make quilts for the DC General Homeless Shelter (https://dcgeneralquilters.wordpress.com). I donated 3 quilts last December, and now I have 4 tops ready to be quilted! New fabric is always appreciated! Thanks for the chance!!
Such a generous giveaway! I would love the jelly roll (dots are a favorite of mine), but so are hexis, so the Juggle pattern would also be a very welcome addition to my pattern stash! Thank you!
I love paper piecing and am just getting interested in making miniature quilts. I'd love the mini patterns in #1. Thanks!

I would love the Dottie Jelly Roll. I make quilts for the Charlotte chapter of Project Linus and jelly roll quilts are so fun and quick. This orphan adoption is such a great idea! I'm putting some items up, too.
Thanks so much for participating. Looks like you are getting lots of takers!
I prefer Dottie, but would appreciate whatever is available. My prize will become a door prize for Guild Tea, teaching kids to sew, fun!

The Dottie jelly roll would be great to make a baby quilt for my quilting group's baby quilt fundraiser to help purchase sewing desks, tables, and cupboards for their sewing room. But if I'm not selected for that any of the patterns would be nice to put in their pattern library. Thanks. I am in the U.S. Karen
I would love to use that jelly roll. Thank you for your generosity!

I would love your jellyroll. the dots would be fun to sew with. I have two new grandgirls that I need to sew quilts for, this would be fun to include in their new quilts.
Dottie Jelly please. I am sewing a pirate quilt for my first grandson, Ahoy Kipton" a pattern from Amy Bradly and need some fun nautical cots. Second choice is the mini paper-piece patterns. Thanks for sharing.

I would love the dots jelly roll! I'm (slowly) collecting dot fabrics for a polka-dot quilt. Thanks for doing this!
I would love Dotty!!!!!
We all love dots, it would appear! I make lots of scrappy quilts with smallish pieces, so jelly rolls are like gold to me. I can't say whether it would go into a charity quilt or not, though, since the final destination of my quilts is usually not determined until after I finish. Thanks for considering me!
I'd be interested in the Dotty Jelly Roll, or the Paper piecing patterns. Thank you
I'd be interested in the dotty roll or the hexi pattern :)
I love paper piecing and I love jelly rolls,so either would be great. Thank you for the chance to win.,

I am working on a new pattern for a jelly roll quilt and would love to have the jelly roll to use for testing the pattern. When the quilt is done I would give it to the charity quilt project my Guild runs here in Southern NH. If the pattern comes together well I would gladly send you a copy if you want one. Thanks for considering me as a potential adopter!
I would love either of the jelly rolls to add to the fabrics I am using to make the farmers daughter quilt. Thanks for the chance on winning and paying the postage, how generous
I make several charity quilts a year and would find good use for the jelly roll. If it is not available I might enjoy the pattern for the hexagon quilt. It is so nice of you to do this.
oooh would love to go dotty...have several other dotty fabrics that would welcome this jelly roll! also, the foundation patterns...very nice!
Love the jelly roll, but the Juggle pattern looks great as well. Thank you!
I would love to win the dotty jelly roll. That would be a great addition to my stash.
Thanks for the great giveaway.
Oh yeah, the dotty jelly roll is popular---who wouldn't love it? It's such fun fabrics! I'm making several quilts for the H2H Challenge this year and would love to work with these; thanks for the chance.
Wow! I could put those jelly rolls to good use for the H2H challenge. Thank you :)
